4. Adjusted Body Weight (ABW) Formula

When a patient's Actual Body Weight (ABW) is >120% of IBW, adipose tissue contributes approximately 40% to extracellular volume distribution:

Adjusted Body Weight (ABW) = IBW + 0.4 × (Actual Weight − IBW)

5. Limitations: Muscularity & Frame Size
